Stayed tuned for my review of Dante's famous
Divine Comedy, starting with
The Inferno. Quite frankly, the most exciting of the three (but then again, who doesn't find Hell exciting?) but to be fair, I haven't gotten to
Paradiso yet. Translation by John Ciardi, complete with notes and commentary in exceedingly fine detail. Perfect for someone who doesn't have a clue about medieval history and/or mythology.
